The influence of mental skills on sporting performance is a reality, widely accepted by both the scientific and sporting communities. Learning to manage the emotions involved in sports practice, failures, mistakes or successes; solving situations that involve a high increase in the level of stress through the management of our thoughts, improving our motivation based on setting goals properly or optimising self-confidence through strategies such as visualisation and self-talk, are some of the many aspects that we can improve thanks to the acquisition of psychological tools as a result of training our mind.
In this course we cover theoretical and practical aspects of sports psychology, which will be of help to you whether you are a professional or amateur athlete, coach or are linked in one way or another to the world of physical activity and sport.
All the knowledge of sports psychology to be covered in the different modules is focused on all types of goals and sports modalities, from individual to collective sports, and in all of them the main goal will be to bring the athlete closer to his or her optimal sports performance.
